In a demonstration of the impact of public–private partnerships in conservation and community development, the Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA), in collaboration with Grumeti Reserves Ltd, recently handed over various items and equipment worth TSh 362 million to support schools and health facilities in Bunda and Serengeti districts in Mara Region. The handover ceremony, depicted in these photos, was held on February 27, 2026, and attended by senior officials from TAWA and Grumeti Reserves, as well as local leaders led by Serengeti District Commissioner Angelina Lubela and her Bunda counterpart Aswege Kaminyonge.
