NMB Bank and CMC Agri Limited have launched the Korosho Yangu, Benki Yangu campaign in Mtwara for the 2026/2027 cashew season, offering five primary cooperative unions the chance to win tractors, AMCOS motorcycles and individual farmers cash prizes based on their banking activity.
Launching the campaign, Mtwara Regional Commissioner Colonel Donald Msengi called for farmer education on campaign requirements and loan conditions, noting that tractors could ease the transportation of agricultural inputs and cashew nuts in areas with poor infrastructure.
