On the evening of July 7, 2026, the Tanzania Trade Development Authority (TanTrade) hosted the Sabasaba Golden Night, a prestigious gala held as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Dar es Salaam International Trade Fair (DITF). The event paid tribute to the institutions, companies, development partners and individuals whose vision, commitment and enduring support have shaped the remarkable evolution and success of Saba Saba over the past five decades. Graced by the Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Emmanuel Nchimbi, the landmark occasion brought together distinguished leaders from government, the private sector, the diplomatic corps and the business community to celebrate one of Tanzania’s most enduring symbols of trade and enterprise. More than a celebration of past achievements, the Sabasaba Golden Night reaffirmed TanTrade’s commitment to building on the legacy of the past 50 years while ushering in a new era of expanded trade, greater competitiveness, stronger partnerships and sustainable economic growth for Tanzania and beyond.
