The 33rd Nane Nane International Agricultural Exhibition in Dodoma highlighted Tanzania’s growing commitment to transforming agriculture into a modern, commercially driven sector. During a tour of the exhibition, Finance Minister Ambassador Khamis Mussa Omar called for stronger collaboration between agriculture, livestock, fisheries, industry, trade and financial institutions to accelerate productivity, value addition and economic growth. The minister said achieving the country’s Dira 2050 requires coordinated investment in mechanisation, research, processing and market development. He also commended exhibitors for showcasing innovative products and urged greater efforts to expand domestic and international markets for Tanzanian goods, reaffirming the government’s commitment to supporting productive sectors through strategic financing and partnerships.
