As Tanzania accelerates its industrialisation and infrastructure agenda under Dira 2050, the government is placing equal emphasis on ensuring that development remains environmentally sustainable. During an official working visit to Pwani Region, Minister of State in the Vice President’s Office (Union and Environment), Eng. Hamad Yussuf Masauni, toured key strategic projects, including the Mlandizi electricity substation and the construction of the Mlandizi Pre-Primary and Primary School.
The visit underscored the government’s commitment to balancing infrastructure expansion, quality social services and environmental stewardship as pillars of inclusive and sustainable economic development.
