President Samia Suluhu Hassan officiated the TRA@30 Presidential Taxpayers Awards in Dar es Salaam on July 1, 2026, where Twiga Cement was crowned Tanzania’s Overall Top Taxpayer in recognition of its outstanding contribution to domestic revenue mobilisation. The awards, held as part of the Tanzania Revenue Authority’s 30th anniversary celebrations, honoured exemplary taxpayers from various sectors while showcasing three decades of TRA’s transformation in modern tax administration, digital innovation and its growing role in financing Tanzania’s development agenda.
