Thursday, March 26, 2026, Nurdin Bilal Juma, the Mayor of Dar es Salaam, joined employees of Tanzania Breweries PLC, led by Corporate Affairs Director Neema Temba, in a clean-up exercise to restore an effluent discharge channel in Ilala District – turning World Water Day into tangible environmental action. The initiative, which brought together more than 100 TBL employees alongside community stakeholders and local leaders at the company’s Ilala plant, highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration in protecting urban water systems, improving sanitation, and advancing sustainable city development.
