Yas Tanzania emerged among the standout winners at the TEHAMA Awards 2026, securing two accolades that recognise its contribution to Tanzania’s digital connectivity and technology-driven environmental conservation.
Held on August 9, 2026, at Johari Rotana Hotel in Dar es Salaam, the second edition of the TEHAMA Awards brought together leading players in Tanzania’s ICT sector to celebrate excellence and innovation.
Yas was named Best National Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the second consecutive year and also received the ICT for Environmental Conservation Award, recognising its use of technology to support environmental sustainability.
The event was officiated by Minister for Information, Communication and Information Technology Angellah Kairuki, highlighting the Government’s recognition of ICT as a key driver of national development.
