For three days, from October 8 to 10, 2026, the Tanzania Coffee Curing Company (TCCCo) factory in Moshi, Kilimanjaro Region, hosted the seventh edition of the Kahawa Festival, bringing together stakeholders from across Tanzania’s coffee value chain.
Held as part of activities promoting coffee around World Coffee Day, observed internationally on October 1, the festival brought together farmers, processors, millers, exporters, roasters, coffee-shop operators, equipment suppliers, packaging companies, investors and other industry players to showcase products, explore business opportunities and strengthen market linkages.
Among the participants was Stanbic Bank Tanzania, which reaffirmed its readiness and financial capacity to support key players across the coffee value chain with financing to expand production, strengthen local processing and value addition, and capitalise on growing export opportunities. The festival provided a platform for connecting coffee businesses with financial institutions and other partners, highlighting the role of investment in unlocking the sector’s potential to increase productivity, generate employment and boost export earnings.
