Through its bancassurance partnership with Reliance Insurance, NMB Bank has facilitated and helped fast-track the settlement of compensation claims for nine Lumumba Street traders in Mwanza whose businesses and property were affected by the July 3, 2026 fire. The compensation handover event was graced by Mwanza Regional Commissioner Said Mtanda, who called for greater insurance awareness and uptake, as well as timely settlement of legitimate claims.
